Naturally reduce and prevent wrinkles and sagging by feeding your body the nutrients it needs to perform these tasks.

Why are collagen and elastin important?
The collagen and elastin in your skin give it its structure. They hold it together, keep it firm, allow it to stretch and shrink, give it softness, strength, and support.
Collagen is also an important component of bones and joints and other body parts.
Those low in collagen can develop osteoarthritis, stiff joints, wrinkles, and sagging skin.
What decreases collagen and elastin in the body?
Collagen and elastin break down in time and also from a high-sugar diet, smoking, UV exposure and a lack of sleep.
As we age, we start to produce less collagen starting in our mid-twenties. By age 30, our collagen production decreases by about 1% (or more) each year.
Increasing the production of collagen and elastin
Our bodies make both collagen and elastin. They are made by the body from vitamins and minerals, and amino acids (from protein).
The body can’t make collagen or elastin without vitamin C. It also stimulates your DNA to maintain them.
Vitamin C aids in skin regeneration, rejuvenates skin and repairs skin damage.
The B-complex vitamins, especially B2, B3, B6, folic acid and B12 are used in the production of collagen. Vitamins A and B3 (niacin) stimulate the production of collagen and elastin.
You also need the mineral zinc to synthesize collagen along with a small amount of copper silicon and amino acids. A zinc deficiency can cause a decrease in the amount of collagen produced.
Vitamin D tightens skin, helps prevent sagging skin and stimulates skin repair and new skin cell production.
Vitamin K increases elastin production and prevents the breakdown of both elastin and collagen.
Caffeine slows the production of collagen.
Type 1 Collagen
Type 1 collagen is the most abundant type of collagen in the body. It is the type found in bone, cartilage, tendons, and skin.
It makes up 90% of the human body.
The herbs cinnamon, ginseng and gotu kola increase the production of type 1 collagen.
New collagen growth can take up to 3 months to complete.
Bone Broth
Bone broth contains collagen. We don’t use this collagen to replace our collagen but rather we break it down into hyaluronic acid and the amino acids glycine and proline which our bodies use to make new collagen.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally made by the body. It is found in our joints, eyes, and skin. It reduces scarring, increases skin moisture, and increases the production of elastin and collagen.
Randomized controlled trials show an improvement in joint health and a reduction of wrinkles with bone broth consumption.
